What is Front Spindle Arm?

A spindle arm for rotatably supporting a reel having both positive and frictional commitment between the spindle and the reel. The positive commitment is made toward one side of the spindle, as by methods for plural pins which draw in plural breaks in the reel. The frictional commitment is made at the opposite end of the spindle and is given by a radially expansible elastomer which is extended by a locking arm. This double commitment favorably holds two-sort reels out just as to the spindle.
